We seem to see constant bans of islands from Plarium teams. Which they justify as a use of third party software to manage the game.
Why can you not enforce 2FA which would certaintly block the usage of such software?
I don't think you'll get an official response here, so here is a personal opinion:
1. 2FA does not prevent bots. The idea of it is that your device has a "secret" that is used to generate a code that changes frequently (with every login or every 30s or...). By typing the code, you prove that you have access to that device. There is no reason why the "device" in question wouldn't be a bot, since more than 1 device can use the same 2FA (I have that for a joint Google account with my partner). So, abot could compute the required code and supply it just as you can with the help of your favourite 2FA app.
2. Wider population is not exactly tech savvy and 2FA would simply lose the game loads of players. I had trouble getting some to just set a proper password or replace old emails with those that they have access to. To such players, 2FA would likely be an impossible mystery.
