My sincere gratitude to the developers.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the developers for the revamped and revitalized tournament.

In my opinion, the game has become much more interesting and engaging, and the distribution of rewards also deserves praise.

I wish the development team continued success, as well as new ideas and their speedy implementation in the game.

Regards

Alex Sweetfire

I agree and I (and other folks) have shared this positive feedback as well. On balance (taking into account pros and cons), the new tournament format is better than its predecessors.

Are you stating that the matchmaking has been fixed? I haven't gone back to tournament yet due to the horrible matchmaking and haven't read any updates concerning it.

No, sir. The matchmaking is the "cons" :-).

I also played the tournaments last week, and it's much easier to progress, without having to worry about OP bots and unfair matchmaking (maybe it's because I have dropped to the absolute lowest rank possible) I played 1 match and my strongest Hangar was insanely OP, so I made another preset to match other players' hangars, and honestly the experience was so nice. I felt the happiness when mechs like Cheetah, Zephyr Sentinel and some weaker legendary mechs performed very good amongst similar mechs.

That's key to having a good experience. Not being in the lowest tournament rank specifically :-), but in the rank that is most appropriate for your hangar. Yes you will find people that have widely varying SPs (because matchmaking in these tournies doesn't account for SP) but that's usually temporary and at least the bots are at a consistent level of strength in each rank.

Maybe if mech arena takes all the right steps in the future I'll play again. But I don't see that happening. Matchmaking feeling acceptable has always been a fleeting thing in my experience. Good luck to the team with the players you still have.

Hi everyone! Perhaps I was misunderstood!

With this post, I wanted to acknowledge the work the development team has done.

In my view, they’ve succeeded in making the tournament more interesting and engaging—though, of course, there is always room for improvement. There are certainly aspects that still need refining, but I’ll save that for another post.

For now, I simply want to thank the development team for their hard work, their efforts, and their willingness to listen to player feedback.

Once again, I wish the project success, innovative solutions, and continued prosperity.

Best regards, Alex Sweetfire.
