Yup same, and with my 5k hangar even the bots give me that trouble :-). 

My guess (I could be wrong) is that people are starting from one bracket lower than they ended at last time. Since most of the maxed hangar players would have been in grandmaster then, maybe they're starting at master now. If so, after a few days they'll move back to grandmaster and the brackets will be more correctly filled.

You are probably right, i think everyone started one bracket down too..

I have 5k hangar power, only legendary mech is dreadnought, i also have paragon and lancer in my team. They are the only full star mechs.

To filter them out to grandmasters you would need to wait around 2+ days for each bracket if they win 100% of matches (8*50/55 = 420 points per day) and each bracket is 1000 points... so if they are Master 1 today then you can expect them in Grandmaster 1 no earlier than 7 days.. but they may leave your bracket in just 2-3 days if they always win. 

I sure hope so because I just faced 4 opponents with a sp over 20k. Took me 7 seconds to kill an outlaw with my Eclipse with two 10 revokers 

So as for my experience in Professional 1 is as follows.

With 5k hangar I won 4/8 and it was easy and relaxed to extent..

As on screenshot MVP in every game, but that does not ensure you a win :))

With that speed of 50% wins i will get back to my Expert 1 bracket in about 10+ days and then it should be 7+ days to get to Master 3, last time i was 1-2 days short.. We will see..

As for rewards they do feel miserable.. could easily say that it feels less rewarding than in old tournament, especially when you get 1000 credits even when you scored higher than enemy top performer :)

And your result/reward purely depends on matchmaking or bots.. 

It is still better than old tournament in terms of fairness, you get your rewards right here right now.. you dont have any uncertainty or gamble where you land. 

Now i also calculated how bad rewards really are (not how bad they feel, but pure math and numbers). 

So if i win 100% of games (and be number one in my team) starting from Professional 1 bracket then after 20 days in the end of tournament I will be in Grandmaster 1 bracket and receive about 6100 acoins, 190 fortune keys (extra 1-2k acoins) and 490k credits.. 

That would be if I make it to Master 3 bracket at all. If i dont make it to master 3 bracket and i win 100% games as number one in my team i will receive about 3700 acoins, 150 fortune keys and 400k credits. 

Now lets correct the statistics to reality.. My win rate in "easy" bracket is only 50%. If it continues like that then I will get maximum of 1850 a coins, 75 fortune keys and 200k credits.. in 2 weeks of playing.

And then lets be a bit more real.. I will not be a number one performer in at least half of the winning games in later brackets. I will for sure be last as well. That cuts my rewards more and more as i progress towards master 3. So lets say it is 100% now and then -20% for each bracket, so we make it 100% + 20% = 120/2= 60% average.. lets make it 50% to be optimistic. I will get 925 a-coins, 37 fortune keys and 100k credits. 

And lets finalise it for a complete reality of things, I will start losing more as i progress to Master 3, if its 50% now, then it will be 30% later as history shows it, not making anything up

So 50+30/2  = 40% win rate not 50%.. so a 20% decrease of rewards. Lets get back to numbers.

After 3 weeks of playing i will get 750 acoins, 30 fortune keys (1 skin, 25k credits 375 acoins if we are super optimistic.. 3 skins if we are not) and 80k credits.

Now lets compare it to the old tournament that was happening every week, we need to divide our result by 3.

250 acoins 10 fortune keys 27k credits per week. I made about 50 yesterday (while im in easy bracket) so numbers are close to reality. 

Im ok with that.. but its nowhere near what some SP droppers were getting in old tournament. So ok if they quit im happy that there will be less idiots. 

But lets imagine you are in Professional 1 and you are not top performer, but an average player playing on the phone and not PC. Your reward is 20-100 acoins per week in this new tournament. 

Will people play it? Or its not worth it? 

8 games is about an hour of your life, i have about 2 hours a day for this game for now. 

An hour of your life for 50 acoins per week. :) its laughable. You can SP drop instead and do easy missions on your bots for more acoins. Could just kill tournament instead.. oh wait.. isnt it what you done?

Well third day of tournament is better favoring me.. It's pure luck but still Im sharing everything

Today I earned about 75 a-coins... I agree that 200 a day was a lot maybe, but 75 I think it was pure luck and it wont repeat for long.. I was 1st place in most of the games.. the maximum reward is 14.. so even if I won 8 games as #1 then the total would only be 112.. so I got like 65% of maximum possible.. It won't happen again much :)) im sure.

So today it increased my win rate to what? 60% something.. Tomorrow I will go up a bracket.. we will see..

On paying closer attention to rewards I noticed that I got fortune keys even for finishing 4th in the team.. which is actually cool positive.. played 10+10 fortune keys and received some more a-coins.. it's of course not for the 7 I won.. but the point is 7 out of 20 is like 30% contribution to 375.. so a 100 a-coins (if you lucky of course lol)

Now for the negatives.. I had a debate in my head to guard the middle point with my last robot or do more kills, the first would give more chance for our team to win and second option would give me more acoins if we won.. I chose to play safe for the team and we won, but my win was 1-2 acoins for finishing 4th in my team. Not everyone will pick team over personal rewards. But like I said, 1 fortune key was received too so.. it's not all stinky mushrooms.

Im not taking my words back for anything, this doesnt change my mind or math, I just share the truth as it is. New tournament sux but I had a good day.

How does it make it fair that you get less a-coins as an average player in gm1 than someone tanking in expert 2? Did any of your team do the math on that? I think clearly they didn't or your team is just terrible at math.

Bro I don't get where this is coming from people being like "I think plarium was being too generous with the first season". When actually if you run the math it was perfectly alright.

I have a pair of EM rifle 12s on orion. Maxed pilot, maxed weapons, maxed damage implants, all the damage. I shoot a marked Chungus bot, and every damn time they live with 1% and someone else takes the kill, and with it all the credit... 

im more confused with my dreadnought using ability against orion with just 1 or 2 mods level 1/2 and its nearly unscratched :) weird..

But today it was very annoying, despite I still earnt about 50 a-coins, which is good number for me, I hate bots.. Half of the games were decided by what equipments and mechs enemy bots had, all games were nearly without humans (maybe it's because everyone p1ss3d off by new torunament and stopped playing it?)
