This has been a known issue with the game for quite some time, to which no solution nor further investigation into the issue has been pursued. Several threads have been opened that raise this issue as well.

The best solution, unfortunately, is to only use several types of troops, until the problem is fully addressed. One player experiencing this problem has found it best to use only Spearman and Rams.
