This might seem like a really dumb question... but how does Lacewing deploy its mines? Do they always fall straight down, or do they move in whatever direction Lacewing is moving in?

for example.... if I am moving forward when I jump, do the mines pop out ahead of me?

I don't have Lacewing, but I'm considering it. I want to know how it works first
