The initial fixes are so simple

Playing 1 Legendary? Only go up against hangers with 1 Legendary

Playing mods? Go up against mods

The bots are matched to the player. I bet that 100 people are playing against Tob-le-ro-ne (whatever the name is) right now. Match the bots to their player + - 10%. 

Legendary murderbots against rare mechs with RPG4 is just putting newbies off the game.

The change for me is that my wait is so long, I've gotten in where my teammate has already played 2 rounds on his own.

I think the system based on stars is flawed because having stars doesn't mean its a good mech or a skilled player. They need to go be some other player stat.
