~My Rhetoric Re-iteration ~

In Mech Arena, though, it seems “tournament” has taken on a whole new meaning. Instead of fair matchups and balanced brackets, we get a wild jungle gym of mismatched SP levels, exploiters dropping SP to cheat the system

*A tournament is a organized competition where players or teams compete against each other in a series of matches. It usually follows a specific format, such as knockout, round-robin, or elimination brackets, with the goal of finding a winner or ranking the participants based on their performance over multiple rounds.

*Basically, a tournament is supposed to be a fair and well-structured event where players face opponents of similar skill or ranking. It should have clear rules and a fair process to determine who the best player or team is.

As a higher SP player, I’ve poured a ton of resources into my builds and enjoy a fair fight. Instead, I keep running into opponents with SP levels that seem to be from a different universe, easy points, quick rewards, and all the fun of beating up on entry-level bots or noobs, while the players with lower SP drop hangar SP just sit in the same bracket and don’t even really compete with us, they just drop SP to win cheap matches. It’s almost impressive how the system rewards casual players so generously while the dedicated, higher SP crowd gets the short end of the stick.

This repeated cycle of unfair issues leaves a bad taste, making me question whether this is just how the system is intentionally designed, or if it’s a calculated tactic by the developers to keep players in the dark, exploiting the imbalance to maintain control. It’s clear that genuine concerns are continually brushed aside, as if the entire system is crafted to favor certain players while others are left to grind in vain.

All of this, for like-minded players like myself, and there are many, is only going to further limit participation. It’s a preventable outcome that looms on the horizon for Mech Arena if these issues and approaches continue unchecked, especially since many skilled players have already bypassed or ignored thier participation in what Mech Arena defines as "tournaments," choosing instead to forge their own paths inside the system.

Never an intention I ever want offend anyone, I just speaking my mind of what concerns me.

Be Well All,

Hello! You are right, the Tournament is meant to be a competition of players with approximately the same skills and Squad Power.  Our team is constantly working on improvements to the matchmaking system. Surely, sometimes, it can perform somewhat incorrectly due to the flexible balance we have and abusers who are trying to trick it. Nonetheless, we are developing ways to prevent such conditions!

For now, we'd recommend shuffling your Hangar a bit and teaming up with your friends who have approximately the same SP compared to yours. Try to make Matchmaking work for you!

TOO BAD that in tournaments I never find anyone on my level, but always superior, and by a lot, I don't see where the fairness is that you say..

nevermind..... Please re- read my post again. I believe I made my feedback quite clear. There is nothing more I can add to this. Perhaps if Devs put more effort into fixing the glitches and balancing more to better matching before always pumping out new arsenals and mechs might make many players not rant so much. Just saying.
