Taking Advantage of Low Sqaud Power
Notice that even higher-level players are dropping SP, but of course, it doesn't necessarily indicate a lack of skill. It could be because many players prefer facing lower-level bots. When using higher-level hangers, they often find themselves up against maxed-out or newer bots, which can reduce the fun of the game. Some players, myself included, intentionally drop SP to complete achievements faster, as higher-level hangers can make certain tasks take longer. Also, players may drop SP to test new mech builds, strategies, or hangers without risking their current rank. This allows them to experiment and learn without the pressure of competitive gameplay. Mech Arena often has seasonal or event-based rewards tied to specific achievements. Players might drop SP to farm these rewards more easily, especially if certain resources or items are easier to acquire at lower ranks. Lower-ranked matches might offer easier or quicker opportunities to complete daily or weekly tasks (like kills, match wins, or specific mech/weapon usage). Dropping SP can help players farm these objectives more efficiently. However, SP dropping should definitely not be allowed in tournaments, as it disrupts the competitive balance.
Alternatively, it could be that some players are simply looking for an easy way out and don’t want to play fair. They try to find loopholes or shortcuts, and in the process, they end up cheating, not for a valid reason, but just to get an unfair advantage and dominate others, almost to the point of bullying. This kind of behavior needs to be stopped.
I know you're working on it, but I just wanted to voice my concern one last time hopefully, and put this out there.
