Lately there appears to be more spam posts than real posts.
The latest one appears to have joined the forum and immediately posted here.
I cannot check but suspect the recent others have done likewise.
Without penalising genuine beginners with real questions or the more casual player.
Is it not possible to introduce a deterrant,obstacle,or some kind of actual basic play requirement before they are allowed to post?

Yes I am aware that you do, though sometimes, it is not obvious from the title that it is spam, and can be overlooked,and even if the message looks genuine, it later is turned into spam.
Currently there are two new spam messages from the same person, who also appears to have just joined the forum with only the purpose to spam.
Though I can see some spammers are determined, and this might waste more of your time and be to no avail, perhaps if you were not allowed to post until you were cleared, and given permission to do so, this extra step would be the deterrant needed.
Perhaps if there was a feature to report posts as spam. This could move them to a holding folder for review by admins. This would reduce the amount of time they were visible.
Plus certain keywords could be checked for. Currently CBD would remove about 70% of the current ones.
