I think it is an interesting addition to be able to hold the POP/MC in a foriegn kingdom. I also like the new 1 hour time to shield. However to keep the interest and allow more competition, I think it would be good to reduce the shield time to 12 hours. Allowing for up to 4 different holds on each POP/MC in each kingdom during a 2 day event.
the 12 hours also fit the often time zone difference for players, so there would be less advantage to one or the other, depending on who was in the night/day when the shield fell.

Personally as a smaller player I think it's been a negative factor. I don't feel reducing the time will make any difference because from what I have seen so far there have been 1 or 2 dominant clans who hold them for the entire duration. Reducing the time might make them have to fight for them more regularly but would not effect the outcome and would just cost others more troops if they bothered.

As a smaller player you might think it would be good too. Because then the big players would be busy attacking and defending the POP more and longer and would have less time to turn against you and your activities.
They don't bother in our KD so every event it's owned by another KD.
