Players accumulate materials and bonuses they cannot use:

Experience, when the player has already maxed the Hero or Shaman,

basic materials, dropped as rewards, over and over again,

VIP status, enough for hundreds of weeks,

all kinds of stuff that just turns into clutter.  the rewards for a beginner turns into a negative reward for the experienced player.

So,  turn the excess into something more valuable, trading them to other players or otherwise clearing out the useless inventory.

Surely, Plarium can find some way to turn a profit on it.  lol

One of the successes of the game over the last year or two seems to me to be changes introduced which allowed players to make some use of the clutter.  Precious dust from gems for example, celestial gems for another and various materials now needed for upgradeable gear.  So wait a while and some use for your clutter may appear.

In the meantime if I trade something I don't need for something I do then neither I nor my trading partner buy those items from plarium - income drops.

If you want your idea to fly, rather than telling plarium to work out a way to replace lost income you need to propose such a way yourself.

Profit depends on the margins for each alternative.  A trillion deals at $0.01 each is still measured in $billions.  I envision most trading with Plarium, few with other players.

I have made use of stray resources, having built gear for each type of troop, and for fortresses, yielding, and such.  Changing gear is mostly a cost, do to my ailments of age.

Also, a resource with numbers in the 10's of thousands is not a resource, it's a reminder of a bs deal, dead weight, clutter to get in the way of gaming.  Those materials just slow me down, not adding to the game, but subtracting from it.

From a players point of view,I don't see why things you do not use or need are clutter, the spaces for them are there anyway, it makes no difference if there is 1 or millions of the same item, doesn't it?

I appreciate that this might cause problems for the program running smoothly, but as I do not understand this aspect I do not know exactly how, but I would suggest that if it is accurate, it's Plarium's Frankenstein.

Your suggestion of trading with Plarium rather than other players would seem to be nonsensical.

What have you got that Plarium want, apart from your time and your money?

I would suggest that John's idea that eventually the  programmers  will come up with ideas to remove the clutter,is somewhat illusory.

It just converts the 'clutter' to something else, causes controversy, and doesn't really give anything substantial to players.
