Yep. You need to use any boosts before u start any process.
You can even check time for construction BEFORE you've used boosts and after. It will change

My tests do not show a speed increase. I have equipped the hero with two amulets only - Victor's Bracelet. (LEGENDARY and added to both the Legendary gems INDICOLOTE. Each should raise the construction speed 59.5% (49.5 + 10) for a total construction speed of 119%. They are on the warrior before construction starts. I see no effect on the TIME required to upgrade a building.

if i wear all my piece of armor with building boost , do it have a effect on the time after the begining of the process !
Because i see that the time runing fast after the begining and stop to have a effect about 12 hours after ! then it goes fast when i don't wear my boost armor but i can't quantifie if my armor had an effect on this short périod ! if it had i keep it but if not i should change for a more utile armor !!

nope, if u equip ur armor after the process begins it will not work, same with boosts and as

most likely it was your clanmates help

The help depends upon level of palace you have(palace level + 5) If you have palace level 21 then there will be 26 helps available for you i.e. 26 different players can boost your construction. Help boost time also depends upon the total time you will take to construct the building. Help gives 1min boost or 1% boost which ever is higher.
