Did your kingdom win? You only get the personal awards is your kingdom wins.

Yes we did win and i cant see where to collect the rewards anywhere.

Did you join the clan before kvk was announced?

When our kingdom won we just got system msgs with the rewards.

I think the same thing that happened to OP happened to me.  It isn't well explained ingame though and is rather misleading.  My account started after the kvk was announced and then I joined a clan.  I didn't show up as getting credit for the kvk in the clan, but on the personal section, it showed me filling in the bubbles.  That indicated to me that I could still get credit for personal achievements even if I wasn't eligible for clan ones.  We won...and I got no rewards.

I was a bit pissed, as I farmed up to the 9th bubble from t4/5 res nodes with starting with a few hundred troops (had to resend them every 2 minutes) and used some of the little gold I did have to buy more troops so it would be less miserable.  

It isn't the end of the world of course and I got over it, but man was it frustrating at the time. I hope they fix it so it isn't so misleading for other new players

Yep, that's what happened to me.  I will consider it a lesson learned.  We won the next KvK event and was rewarded handsomely so it worked out.

And during a king battle, if you attack clans from your own kingdom, does hurt or help you & your kingdom since killing enemies scores you more points?
