I would like to see a dedicated status page for this game.

You would typically post status on major issues currently affecting the game. E.g:

We are currently experiencing login issues for users using the PC platform.

There is currently an update in progress. Please await further information.

We are currently experiencing an DDOS attack from WingNut32!

OK. That last one was perhaps not something you would publish,.?.

Or for example as of latest:

Google are currently experiencing intermittent issues with purchases on the Play Store. Contact xxx@yyy with information "foo", "bar" if you are having trouble.

Preferably also with an estimated time frame of when issue is expected to be fixed. (When ever possible)

Yes. It is frustrating trying over and over again to log in trough hours and hours. Even if it is not often :D

And then of course the subsequent updates like «Login issue now resolved», «Upgrade has concluded :)» etc.

Believe a short 4KiB, (or so), message would also save the planet for X-million redundant downloads in respect to energy lol
