Its annoying,and unless I am miss-remembering,inconsistent with previous use, and doesn't seem logical as it appears to be normal on Firefox,but I cant get this to work on chrome browser, I have to use Esc.
It does tell you this,but the transient message is easily overlooked when keen to get into the game .

The button shown used to both enable and disable full screen mode,it now only enables and 'Esc' is required to disable full screen.
