I think six hours ...
Once you are on it though it will stay as long as you don't leave it ...

I have seen the quoted 6 hours,which is why I specifically asked the question here, rather than in general questions about the game, I hoped for an official response.
I appreciate the tile can be open in great excess of this time,provided it is occupied within what appears to be a mysterious time frame.

use to be 5 Days until plarium in there wisdom decided to reduce it to only 6 hours wish it could be made longer 24 hours would be the perfect amount of time for them.

Just to add ... the ubers do actually give a six hour limit on them ... annd the other invaders FROM EXPERIENCE are also six hours ... but yea I am not an "official response" ...

Unfortunately , we do not always get satisfactory answers to questions we pose from other players, nor those that run it, which of course are the most likely to be correct with the information.
I know it specifies the 6 hour barrrier for Ubers, which I do not attacck all that often, and apart from the obvious changes ,I suspect are not as profitable as they once were , such that new arrivals to the game suffer disadvantageously.
I asked the initial question, because I believe that an invader that I attacked left a lair which was much less than the speculated 6 hrs.
I was hoping for resolution.
