Howdy,
I'm a PC player and have noticed a change as of today. I have never been able to Paste text into the chat box (Common Chat / Clan Chat); however, I had been able to Paste text into the mail message and clan walls. As of today, and using three different browsers, I can no longer paste text in any of those windows. This was the method I used to communicate with foreign clans.
Is this change by design or a technical issue?
Plarium Support got back to me this morning.
I forgot I had been using the Plarium Play launcher on PC before and switched to Browsers only recently. Although you cannot Ctrl+Paste text into the web browser, you can Copy+Paste text into the text fields on the launcher. This is the method I had used to speak with foreigners.

Sorry to necro such an old post, but is it still true that the PC client can Paste? This is what I use and I can't paste to anything, chat nor mail.
If I am supposed to be able to do this, and some help me figure out why I can't, as the OP stated and in my case half the server is Russian, Google Translate is your best friend, but trying to type all that Russian take a lot of time and is a barrier to better communication and more fun.
I did figure out that the Android App lets you paste, but shutting down to PC client to send a message seems burdsom.

Also bizarre that when people have raised the inability to copy/paste (myself included) none of the forum admin mentioned that paste had a limited availability on Plarium Play. To learn of it only after it has been, inexplicably, removed is sad.

It was removed because of spamming activities and etc. I have forwarded your comment as a suggestion to our developers 😎
