But when you click on that screen you bring up this

Now the player is shown as a member, not of BATM2, but of Mara Salvatrucha (MS87), the clan conducting the SH siege.

Is the player a member of two clans at once?  And which of the two gets the points for participating in the siege?  The screenshots were taken during CvC.

The game has lag in updating all records of a player who moves clan. The player would get no points for the cvc in its new clan as it joined after cvc started. If it did send troops to the Seige it would reduce the amount other players in MS87 scored by the number of troops it killed. In this case the player is too small to affect the Seige result anyway.

That seems plausible Headofriver although it is still odd for one screen to be updated before another.  Would you not expect lag to affect the three screens equally?  I watch with some bewilderment the clan hopping that takes place in my own kingdom and have not seen any other instance of this sort of lag.

I re-visited the town to-day after reading your post and for now it still shows membership of the two clans.   I guess if that changes shortly your explanation will be given additional support.

maybe the 2 clans have created an allience?

I have wondered if there is a way to learn which clan is allied to which, dog1, but my own clan has an ally and when I click on one of our towns or the allied clans' towns the three screens just show the owner's clan in the normal way so I don't think that is the explanation for this anomaly.

The BATM2/Mara Salvatrucha  town is still showing two different clans so I don't think Headofriver's lag idea is the explanation either. 

I have tried sending a message to the player.  Mara Salvatrucha is a Russian clan and I have no Russian but if I should get a reply I will post it.
