Though there are undoubted benefits from having a stronghold, having one will probably throw you into a new league, with its accompanying demands,as will the actual demands from the extra resources required for building and processes inside it. Is your new clan up to the task? I would think carefully about all options before proceding building it.

As the completion of the strongold will likely add points in the competition there is some benefit in this, but do you have enough time boosts to shrink the buildng time of 12 weeks  into two days?
