where is annonced this event ?

I believe there was another post on this issue on the forum, which had given the impression that the event 'just appeared out of no where'.

It is equally possible that this happened, or as I just read, that it was announced in 'place unknown',which is  a bit pointless  if you are  not subscribed to 'place unknown' and they don't post in the normal place and the place you should definitely see it, ie  in the game.
