What does Beryl do?

The gem Beryl has a description that says warrior capacity, what does that actually do? I don't see an increase in the amount of troops in a march but in a section that says capacity i see the stat increase but what is it increasing?

When you send  troops to a tile the beryl gems increases troops capacity so you can send less troops to tiles during evens reducing casualties and  in between events you can empty a whole tile with less troops because of the increased capacity, Also when you hit a town you troops will be able to take more rss in one hit with their increased capacity.
