wait for megas or buy now?

so i know this topic has been rehashed over and over again but as the packs have recently changed i wanted to know peoples opinions on buying packs now or waiting the 12 weeks for megas? do they even exist still outside of holiday events anyway?

Honestly I'm not entirely sure, I see this game as a small hobbie so not fussed about spending some money every now and then, I just want to get the absolute most for whatever I do spend. Looking for opinions on what's best value long term and if megas still exist, it's been 7 weeks since I paid for a pack but I've still got bad offers.

It takes 2 months until you get the good offers and then some take up to 3 months ... and yes I wait for them.

If you do not want to spend a few thousand dollars a year then wait every 3 montgs.
