If you kill neutral troops in the tower ... seems you would get the points for those kills ... not for killing your own kingdom troops though ... there may be a mix in the kill of neutral troops and kingdom troops ...

Towers of fury are loaded with very strong high lvl troops and rss. Is the objective to kill all troops inside then capture tower and defend and if successful then rewarded with rss? When my clan captured it and kept control till time ran out we never got anything. 

You can either destroy the tower or defend it. T1 tower seems to be pretty easy to destroy for large clans. T2 towers defended are pretty tough. I have never seen a t3 or higher tower defeated.

Only defeating the tower gets rss.

During Fury you don’t earn points for killing troops from your own kingdom at all, regardless location. You are only scoring for killing troops from other 3 kingdoms and Plarium garrisons in towers.

So when your clan in home kingdom is reinforcing tower and other clan from your kingdom is attacking this tower, then defender is not getting points for attackers losses, and attacker is getting points only for Plarium troops killed. So attacking tower reinforced by own kingdoms clan is not making any sense

All towers are defended by neutral troops but if the tower is located in your own kingdom you may reinforce the tower with your own troops too with the neutral troops there.

If you spy a lvl 1 tower and see troops not teir 1..those are kingdom troops.

Sorry I misread your question.

What I observe in my kingdom is this.  A Tower is found and a number of high influence towns from the dominant clan appear.  Numerous attacks are made and the Tower is soon burning.  Shortly after that the Tower is destroyed and it disappears.  I assumed that the attackers gained soul gems and, once the defenders were killed, rss.

However when I recently came upon a Tower under attack which was almost burned to the ground I sent two attacks of my own which were repulsed.  The reports showed that the Tower still had numerous defenders of all tiers.  Very shortly afterwards the Tower disappeared.

What puzzles me is that I gained no soul gems in respect of the defenders which my attacks killed.  I am also puzzled that the Tower disappeared so quickly - there seemed hardly any time for the remaining defenders to be defeated and for the rss to be pillaged.

I find it difficult to think that there were fellow kingdom troops reinforcing the Tower.  There has been no discussion of doing that and it is inconsistent with all the attacks by other players from the kingdom.  However if there were such reinforcenments I suppose that would explain the absense of soul gems.  Or perhaps I did not kill enough of the defenders.  The number killed would have produced a few sould gems in battles with troops from other kingdoms but perhaps the threshold is higher in the case of Towers.

Fury is a semi-fun event if you place 1st/2nd, but what bothers me is that there's no scoreboard, so you don't know how your kingdom is doing. You just randomly find out how you did after the fact.
