Scout Reports

Okay so... I'm sure this is posted somewhere but I can't find it.

What information is SUPPOSED TO BE included in a scout report? There's a column for both your troops and their troops implying that you should be able to see your own stats next to theirs for comparison but the only item that ever shows up on my side is the stats for scouts.

Should it make a difference if you're scouting a tile or a town? I've done both and seen no difference.

Does your knowledge make a difference? I can't imagine why knowledge would affect what is shown about my own troops but it wouldn't be the most absurd feature in this game.

Does a scout report include any information about troops that are reinforcing a town?

Is there some classified color coding we're meant to decipher from the numbers that are shown?

What do the numbers mean? Since it's only showing one side, do those numbers reflect the difference between their stats and yours or are they the numerical total of each item?

Thank you in advance for detailed information.

As I am working mostly from memory,I think that you used to see more, then they cut a lot of that out, and then after complaints, they may have put some of it back.People with more experience might be able to tell you, exactly how things have changed.

I'd be interested myself into some insight.

I know I have been mystified previously and more recently too, things like, if your spied and you win, why do they think its safe to attack, why do they attack without spying, why spy and not attack?

I think it should be all their resources and all their troops. Nothing more.

You only see the stats of units engaged.  So you will see the stats for both sides side by side only in respect of scouts of the type/s you sent.  Otherwise you see the stats of the enemy troops only.

So... The numbers in the reports only represent how many of each kind of warrior a person has and there's no longer any information whatsoever given to tell you how powerful they might be?

The number of troops appears when you open the report.  Click on "show more details" at the bottom of the report and scroll down.  Now click on the arrow beside the troop type you are interested in.  The figures you see show how powerful they are.
