Valkyrie's Citadel and increasing influence

When we upgrade our troops in the Citadel, does that influence increase count for points in CVC's or KVK's?

No ... upgrading the building itself does but not any upgrades done in the building.  Same for influence events.

That is just plain wrong and I couldn't find anywhere that it states this. you gain influence for upgrading it so you should get points for upgrading the troop types

    Hello CIM!

    Valkyries' Citadel allows to upgrade some characteristics of the troops. Please note that upgrading stats in this building is a unique process and it has the following peculiarities:

    1. The process can be started at the same time with upgrading Knowledge or a building;

    2. Only one upgrading process can be started at a time in the Valkyries' Citadel. Having the Second Craftsman/Prophet doesn't have any effect on the number of troop type processes;

    3. Your Clan members can speed up the process by using the Help clansmen function.

    4. The process cannot be completed instantly for free using VIP status;

    5. Upgrading the troop types, as well as Knowledge, increases the amount of the Hero's and Shaman's experience, and the player's Influence;

    6. The Influence received due to troop types upgrading is displayed in the Palace, Statistics tab, Influence section.

    Please note that bonuses from troop type upgrading in the Valkyries' Citadel are displayed in the Palace, in the Military tab, Troops section, but are not displayed in the detailed information of a battle report.

    If you have any more questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Enjoy the game!

The question was " When we upgrade our troops in the Citadel," So its probably a good idea to read the question and NOT answer your own question !!

I find your response quite surprising,as you are replying to a post which is over 2 years old so some of the information  may not be current.

Unless I am mistaken, or have misread, or misunderstood, which is an easy thing to do, I can see no where were the question wasn't answered,so you seem to be not following your own advice of 'read what has been written before answering'.
