i'd like to know how matching a clan of 21 members against a clan of 2 is even remotely fair, one clan ranked in the 400's the other in the 800's. Well here's an example.

Conflict opponents are bases on how many points were scored Commander. How many members a clan has is not relevant. Just the points that were scored in the last CC will determine the next opponent
i'm looking primarily at the clans ranking i.e. position 495 vs 868.
Clan rankings are based on achievements, matching in the CC is based on how you scored in the last CC. You could have a new clan that's growing but doesn't have any achievements yet have a lower ranking than an old clan but higher CC score.
