Sandworm Strangness

If you look closely at a TD sandworm, you will see wires.??????.Lol is it like putting electricity in a animal OMG call PETA!!!!!

Ok,back to topic, sandworms main weapon is probably teeth, which I don't think have to have wires...and also, if the wires are to tame the sandworm-I'm pretty sure you can tame a sandworm without wires...well,maybe very hard...

@RawPotato (16 April, 2015, 9:21 AM UTC):
I think those are supposed to be legs, folded up against itself...

You know how ground hogs (or something like so) supposedly to fold up their legs when they sense danger?

Like that, but it's a 'bug' of some sort... So it has more than 2 to fold up   lol

Edit 1:
Ok, I see a few wires. You must remember that Sandworms are technologically enhanced, so some wires may be showing...   lol

They can't fit everything into an animal   lol

in  my  opinion  those  wires  originate  from  head  and  goes  to  rest  of  the  body.

these  wires  may  be  in  order  to  control  these  type  of  huge  creature  or  improve  the  muscle  performance   by  means  of   electrical   impulses.

Pfft!! Stratcom crossed the "human/animal rights" line a while ago. We were all okay with turning humans and dogs into super-killer-cyborgs right? But now do it  to a giant space worm and "OHHH you've gone too far".

@Phoenix13 Bird (27 December, 2015, 12:15 AM UTC):
Rights?

Stratcom has the consent of every participant before they even begin augmentation for battle :)

Every participant has the right to withdraw consent of augmentation at any time before and/or during the augmentation surgery(/ies)

If you didn't know, that's why it takes so long to train the Sandworm... Half of it is trying to get consent   lol

That begs the question, how do you get consent from a giant space worm?

It can't speak english. (or any forms of human communication)

It has no hands so it can't sign anything.

It can't read.

@BiohazarD (31 December, 2015, 12:35 AM UTC):
Only if the 50 no's come before the 1 yes   lol

@Phoenix13 Bird (31 December, 2015, 4:27 PM UTC):
This game take place quite some time into the future, we very well could have made a form of communication with them.

For all we know, the wires are for communication.

Otherwise I guess they just grow/'borrow' an orphan Sandworm.

Upon full maturation, it gets shoved into a room where it has 2 choices for a path; Into the surgery station, or into the Wastes.

If it wander into the Wastes, good bye wasted BioPlasma and Sandworm   lol

If it wanders into the surgery station, consent :D  lol

What, just because it's born for augmentation means it can't have dreams?  What if it wants to be a ballroom dancer?

Don't giant mutated worms have rights too?

But even so the same could be said for any of the xenotype units and I didn't say that Sandworms didn't have rights.
