100k force limit

So for those of you who don't know, there's a limit on how many troops you can send in an attack on an emitter with a clan.  This is called the force limit.  Each unit has a "force" value, the standard value is 1 for infantry, 2 for armor units, 3 for artillery, 4 for air units.  Imperial and A mutated units have a bit lower force value than normal units.  Unless you are at war with a clan, you can only send up to 100k force at their emitters in a single attack.  Not counting fleets, A mutated units, or imperials, this means you can only send up to 33k artillery or 25k air units at an emitter at a time.  33k dizzys has about 42 million offense power, 25k bcs has about 59 million offense power.  This sounds like plenty, until you consider that many clans have over 100 million defense on their emitters, and a level 5 emitter gives all units on it a 25% defense boost.  So it's impossible to take this emitter with a single attack (or even 2 attacks), no matter how strong you are.

Also, a level 125 infestation will give you 23.5k dizzys, so if your clan has 3 members on level 125 infests they could easily have 70k dizzys to send, but the game will let them send less than half this amount in one attack.  Now you may think "so just declare war on them to remove the limit" but for some reason the other clan has the option to say "no thanks, we don't want you to declare war on us" and decline it.  And if the clan suspects you're going to attack their emitter, they'll obviously decline the war request.

None of plarium's other games have this limit, and while it may have made sense when TD started, I think we've grown to the point that 100k force just isn't enough anymore.  It limits the big clans from fighting each other, and forces them to just hit smaller clans who can't put as much defense on their emitters instead.

What do you guys think?  Would you like it removed too, or do you like knowing that there's a limit on how much somebody can send at your emitter at once?

Commander Bio, thank for this useful information. It'll definitely be interesting to our Commanders. Although, I would like to add that all our games have certain force limits which may differ depending on the games.

I'm sure, Commanders can have lots of tactics to hit Emitters where a huge defensive army is located. For example, attacking in series can break the defense quite effecively. Sure, big Clans are welcome to accept War request (if they are not afraid of this ). For them this is a moment of glory irrespectively of the outcome, for the Wastelanders it's a good chance to be the witnesses of Epic battles. BTW, there are rumours that STRATCOM is ready to set monuments in recognition of really Great Battles...

as i see it, keep the limit, but change the way of rules in declaring a war. so if a clan declares war to a clan, its war, and no limits. to give small clans the chanche of keeping an emitter, you could say that clans with only 1 emitter have the option of decline a war.

Any clan can decline the status of war; Only once it starts does it require both clans to reach a consensus of relative peace.

Each Clan must have the access to all game features. So there won't be any restrictions in declaring a War for bigger Clans.

Better say, any clan can start a war by requesting the other clan for a war, but if the other clan does not accept, there will be no war.
