Did you join an order? have you participated in events? Or have you just sat and followed the leveling ques and like many not bothered to read whats in all the icons and windows you can open?  If you want to war you need an order to get in on the gold earning events so you can build stronger soldiers to go attack people with. This really isn't a lone wolf geared game unless you are a credit card warrior.
