The dawn of League Fortresses is upon us!

For your League to truly stand a chance of success, it must have one location from which to rule. To that end, the Stormfall High Council has commissioned the finest architects to draft construction plans for League Fortresses!

Your League Fortress is a special location owned by your League. Having a central Fortress in which to convene allows your League to develop Fields of Knowledge, which provide formidable bonuses to all Members.

There are many interactions that revolve around your League’s Fortress. You will need to protect and upgrade your own League Fortress: the higher the Level of your Fortress, the greater the Bonuses it is able to provide to your fellow League Members. Meanwhile, engaging the Fortresses of your rivals can bring you rich rewards: Attacking and downgrading rival Fortresses will greatly impact their Level, limiting the Bonuses they grant your foes.

League Fortresses have 21 levels (0-20). Of these, Level 5 is the single Milestone Level. This means that when you have reached Level 5, your League Fortress cannot be downgraded below that point. When they are first constructed, all Fortresses will be at Level 3, but can be downgraded to zero by rival Leagues.

League Fortresses can only be built by League Marshals. League Marshals can place their League Fortresses on Fortress Foundations, which are scattered all across the Map of Stormfall. Once constructed, a League Fortress can only be relocated with the help of a League Fortress Gateway.

There are 4 tabs at the League Fortress: Info, Garrisons, Knowledge, and History.

In the Info tab you can view your League Fortress' Level and the Bonuses provided by your various Fields of Knowledge. This is also where you upgrade the Level of your Fortress. To upgrade your Fortress, you will need Glory Points: a special Resource that can either be earned as a reward for competing in Tournaments, or acquired in exchange for Sapphires. Furthermore, your League will need to meet certain Requirements to be able to upgrade the League Fortress.

The Garrisons tab is where you can view all Units that are stationed at the League Fortress, as well as send and recall Reinforcements.

The Knowledge tab allows you to discover and upgrade Fields of Knowledge, which are special areas of discovery that provide statistical bonuses to the armies of ALL Members of that League.

Moreover, Knowledge is not affected by attacks, and cannot be downgraded. Once upgraded to a certain Level, it will never drop below that Level.

To discover and upgrade Knowledge, you require Tomes. Tomes are a special Resource that can be earned a reward for participating in Tournaments and League Quests.

The History tab allows you to view your League’s current balance of Glory Points and Tomes. In addition to this, you can view how your League's Resources have been earned and spent. The History tab also tracks every event regarding your League Fortress Resources, such as Fortress Upgrades and Downgrades, as well as all Resources and Rewards earned from Quests.

Remember: Only League Marshals – and those League Members granted permission to do so – can:

- Spend Glory Points to upgrade their League Fortress. Upgrading your league Fortress takes time, but this process can be sped up with the use of Sapphires.

- Use League Fortress Gateways to relocate their League Fortress to a new location of their choosing.

- Use Tomes to discover and upgrade Fields of Knowledge.
