New: Spirit Wardens
Protect your Castle with a whole new line of defense.
Spirit Wardens are defense-only Units that reduce the power of incoming attacks.
These Units can be viewed and trained from the "Spirit Wardens" tab in the Castle Defense window by players who have reached Level 15. You can access your Castle Defense by tapping on the Gate in the main Castle interface.
Note: A Spirit Warden can only engage an enemy once before being lost, and it will not be sent to the Infirmary. Spirit Wardens cannot be moved to Catacombs, sent as Reinforcements to other locations, or displayed in Spy Reports.
Each Type of Spirit Warden will only defend against a specific Type of Unit (e.g. Cavalry Spirits against Cavalry Units), except for Divine Spirits, which can defend against all Unit Types. All Spirit Wardens can defend against Fireball Attacks.
There are 5 types of Spirit Wardens, and each type has 2 Tiers:
- Infantry Spirit Wardens
- Cavalry Spirit Wardens
- Occult Spirit Wardens
- Bestiary Spirit Wardens
- Divine Spirit Wardens
In order to start training Tier II Spirit Wardens, you need to discover the Tier II Spirit Warden Lost Art.
Bonuses that increase the defensive stats of regular Units will not apply to Spirit Wardens. However, you can improve your Spirit Wardens by discovering and upgrading Spirit Warden Lost Arts. These affect each Type of Spirit Wardens statistics:
- Defense
- Limit (the number of Wardens you can have at your Castle)
- Training Speed
