Undead Hunting Campaigns

Undead Hunting Campaigns

Undead Hunting Campaigns are coming to Darkshine. From now on, you can upgrade your Champions’ Levels even faster with this new feature.

These Campaigns allow you to send Champions on Hunts. Champions sent on Hunts will automatically attack the Undead to earn XP, Summoning Bonds, and Energy.

Feature access

All players who have unlocked Champions can also access Undead Hunting Campaigns. To activate one, you must apply an Undead Hunt Activator (7 or 30 days) – you can get these from certain Special Offers.

When the feature is first released, all players who have unlocked Champions will receive an Undead Hunt Activator (7 d.). As long as one Activator is applied, you can start sending Champions on Hunts.

You can start a Hunt from the “Battle” tab of the Shrine of Summoning. You can also view the stats from there while a Hunt is in progress.

You can send and recall as many Hunts as you like while the Undead Hunting Campaign is active.

Solo and Group Hunts

Undead Hunting Campaigns are available in two types – Solo Hunts, and Group Hunts.

Solo Hunts allow you to send one Champion on a Hunt. The Champion will automatically attack Undead that are at least one level below its current level. It is possible to send a Champion of the maximum Level for its Rank on Solo Hunts to earn Summoning Bonds and Energy, but they will earn no XP.

Solo Hunts will stop if one of the following parameters are met:

  • You run out of Energy
  • You chose to recharge Energy automatically, and ran out of Champion Stones
  • The Attack Limit was reached
  • You recalled the Hunt

Group Hunts can include up to 10 Champions of any Level. They will fight Undead one by one until the Hunt is finished. If one Champion reaches the maximum Level for their Rank during the Hunt, it will no longer fight. The rest of the participating Champions will keep fighting until all are at their maximum Level or until the Hunt is completed. You cannot send Champions that are already at the maximum Level for their Rank on Group Hunts.

Group Hunts will stop if one of the following parameters are met:

  • You run out of Energy
  • You chose to recharge Energy automatically, and ran out of Champion Stones
  • All Champions reached the maximum Level for their current Rank
  • You recalled the Hunt

Undead Hunting Campaign Settings

After selecting the type of Hunt and the Champion(s) you wish to use, you can decide whether to recharge your Energy automatically. This will mean any Recharge Potions of Champion Stones you have will be used when your Energy becomes depleted. Recharge Potions will be used first – if those run out, then Champion Stones will be used next. It takes up 10 Champion Stones to fully recharge your Energy.

You will also be able to set an Attack Limit for Solo Hunts. The default limit is 100 Attacks. When the limit has been reached, the Undead Hunting Campaign will stop.

It is important to note that one Attack = one Undead, so 100 Attacks means 100 Undead that your Champion will face one by one.

After you begin the Hunt, you will be able to view its statistics. The statistics include:

  • Total Hunt time
  • Attacks sent
  • Energy used
  • Recharge Potions applied
  • Energy recharged
  • Champion XP earned
  • Summoning Bonds received

After you have sent a Hunt, it is not possible to add Champions, remove Champions, or change any of the Hunt settings. You can end a Hunt instantly by choosing to recall it. Additionally, Champions selected to go on the Hunt will not be available for any other game actions until the Hunt is finished.

The lock feature is essential for the hunt.  You want to lock your top 15 of each type.  Hunt also goes from bottom up, it should be top down to maximize champ tourney points.

Hello!

What exactly lock feature do you mean?

We added an opportunity to lock your Champions from being sacrificed in this update, but Hunt has nothing to do with sacrificing.

I would recommend locking the top champion of each type just so accidental sacrifice. the locked ones are not the ones that go on the hunt, you chose those separately. Just because one is on a hunt does not mean it is locked.

Hello!

Do you mean the recall for Units you send to attack, reinforcement, etc. or you mean recall button for Champion you sent to fight Undead?

But Lord Aimsterg could don't know it and ask for this option.
