Dear Players,
On January 1st, 2021, all web browsers will stop supporting Flash, and our games will no longer be able to run on them. However, we have a solution.
We have been working hard to make it possible switch our games to HTML5 in December, but we ran into some technical issues. The HTML5 version of the game demands optimizations and improvements, and we will keep everyone informed if the situation changes.
For this reason, we have decided to commit to helping every player migrate to desktop versions of our games. These desktop applications are able to use Flash Player without exposing anyone to any security threats, so you can continue playing just as you are now - in most cases, it will be even better!
Migrating your account will allow you to keep your same account, all your progress, and all your purchases. We'll have detailed instructions for how to migrate coming soon. For now, sit tight, fight on, and keep your eyes out for more info!

Game over for me then .... and for thousands of other non-coiners who also refuse to use desktop apps
Work should have started on HTML5 a long, long time ago after you failed to optimise WebGl. You have now failed to optimise HTML5. You have just been stringing us along for months with your false hopes and broken promises. Make no mistake, this is plarium's failure ... so why trust them now?
I wonder what will happen to the millions of facebook players when Gamesroom removes pepperflash
Migrating Facebook castles to new servers on Plarium Play will be hysterical, because 99.9% of castles will be deserted and hundreds of leagues will be dismissed due to inactivity
The ship is sinking, but at least the Gift Shop will remain open 🎁
What I'm hearing here is that Flash has vulerabilities that allow certain programs to hurt computers of users that go on to bad sites that's why it's being discontinued to be supported after January ,1 2021.
It's not a matter of plarium being safe or not It's a Matter Of users of Flashplayer having a program that endangers their computers on the Internet Just to Play a game.
So No mucking around tell me Straight Is Stormfall going to require FlashPlayer to run because the problem is the flashPlayer will not be safe for some if they have it remain in their systems.

"been working hard" Since the attempt (and before)of WEBGL these issues have been known.
So either
1) They have been working on this since since the try with WEBGL, and have had the same results. Furthering the distrust, of Plarium and it's developers.
2) decided to wait until the last possible moment to do something and failed to meet the mentioned deadlines. Furthering the distrust, of Plarium and it's developers.
There is no option for me, and some others, game over.
I have disabled Chrome auto-updates ..... hope this allows me to play on the browser for a while
The app is a non-starter for me, tho
player migrate to desktop versions of our games.
what does that even mean - the Plarium Play App?
@ DJM
Plarium Play Desktop App is the ONLY thing they can offer us .... and that also includes all Facebook games, and other plarium browser titles ... where they will continue to use pepperflash
Our servers will be a ghost town
EPIC FAIL (again) ..... I have always said that Plarium(Ukraine) never cared about browser games and neither did Aristocrat Casinos (Australia) but nobody ever listens
GAME OVER
"detailed instructions for how to migrate comin SOON" ...gag
My wife answers the same if i ask when she's done getting ready ...
This "soon "is really becoming a toe-curling statement when the clock is still ticking
Dec 5th today ..20 days to go minus Christmas Holidays
Faith is deminishing rapidly .
I would encourage evryone to reveiw a bit of forum history, the fond memories.
This entire thread could have posted within the last 48 hours currently. And do please note, the CM posting is not the current CM, although the name and comments the same.
And please note the date...

I still don't understand how to continue to play the game on my Chrome Book. It is nice for people to play on various smart phones or Apple computers, etc. But I have a dumb phone (calls and texts, only, I can't even move phone pictures to my computer be cause that little memory card doesn't have a corresponding place to plug in). When I replaced my Dell PC with a Chrome book I thought I was economically moving up in technology.
A Chrombook has its own operating system designed by Google.
The good news with that is it will play Apps specifically built for Chromebooks and they run quite a few apps for mobile phones you might get from Google Play.
The bad news is that unless the developer of software you are interested in using has specifically built an App version of their software it won't run on a Chromebook. So there are plenty of things that run on PC's that won't run on Chromebooks.
The Plarium Play software is one such thing. It's built to run on Windows OS. It won't run on your Chromebook.
//You promised to answer our question. What is this?//

Its good to hear that you have ported the game into flash. Can players be allowed to test this, or gain limited access in order to be certain that we are not being strung along.

This is true for now. A boxed flash player might currently be safe. But it is not safe forever. For this reason, every minute must be spent on solving these optimizations issues. Players are committed to helping Plarium deal with these issues. And we will continue to encourage our players to temporarily migrate into using plarium play. But this is not a permanent solution.
You need to update us on a timely basis on how far are you in solving these optimization issues. A video of Plarium programmers solving an issue, explaining it and then telling us how they solve it or how they hope to solve it will be great. These videos can be shot with a simple smartphone camera, and they are entertaining and a good way of building the spirit of players in these trying times.
This way, even if it takes 6 months, atleast we would know that something is being done.

Hundreds of issues needs to be solved.
One problem I noticed more often is the issue of inherited accounts. Most log in data for this castle is missing or has not been shared, misplaced ect. You need to suspend certain security measures to allow players to migrate these castles into Plarium Play. Failing to do so will frustrate many players. I have seen many happy that they could log into plarium Play straight from browser, without inputting data. This is great. But we need a permanent solution in that front.
Moderators need to be armed with 'how to' manuals for players in different platforms, like Chromebook.

If you have access to such accounts on plarium.com, you can link them to e.g. Facebook or Google, or Twitch and use them in order to login to Plarium Play. It should help.
