and this is the real reason behind the beacon massacres.

to drive players to the mobile platforms. force them to quit the browser based games and move on to mobile apps.

Its a sad day when Plarium have time to make new apps with the current state this game is in , no wonder you are losing players , try fixing the games you have first before putting time and effort into making new apps

We don't force players to quit. We introduce our new game. Maybe some players will be interested in it.

Browser and Mobile games are developed by different teams.

While indirectly you do not force players to quit, every update you have had in the past 6 months has caused players to leave this game. Right now the strategy for plarium is to see how much $ they can squeeze from the community before shutting down their browser based games in favor of focusing solely on mobile apps.

that assumption is completely false for two reasons

1) plarium has been delivering lots of updates in the past 6 months

2) there is a brand new browser game coming soon (vikings)

note that viking was first launched on mobile and now it is coming to plarium.com

this means plarium is still very well invested in browser games :))

not according to plarium CEO Avi Shalel

"Our expansion within mobile platforms is of course our top near-term priority."

theyve admitted it in not so exact words.    life span of the average MMO browser game is 10 years, according to avi shalel, and this game is 5 years in.  but in those 5 years, technology and trends have lept towards the mobile platforms. in order for plarium to see the profit they want out of this game, they have to squeeze us hard to get before the browser meduim goes bust.

Sounds about right.

Time to find a new MMO & take my money elsewhere, i understand the business structure but the way Plarium has executed it makes my blood boil. Nothing short of day-light robbery

A new browser game,,, how nice.

1) Most of which, have A) required more money, B) have done nothing to significantly improve the game C) have created more issues/bugs...

2) When by all accounts (I do not play them all), none are stable or consistent ,without bugs, etc... why not make another????

All they see is $$$ Roadster. If you want to be treated like a human being & not a number then its time to go elsewhere. With the new xpac of WoW "Legion" heard nothing but good things so ill be heading back there i think, this game & plarium can get F'd lol
