At this point in the game it is pretty tough to get a beacon past level 2 without a massive hammer taking it out so good luck to those who want to try

Consider how things are, maybe Plarium should rethink the way for a guild to level their fortress. Yeah a guild should have to work for it, but at current time, the mechanics to do it, doesn't work, or rather isn't realistic to pull off.

Devs are already working on some changes to League Fortress mechanics :)

yep. server 2, everyone is stuck at level 15, cant go higher.

i found one for sparta, cause on sf i didn see anyone you only have to change dracmacs for Sapphs.

Being in an extreemly active league in server 1 where our fort is level 18 ready to go to 19 as we already have the fort kill, its not just the level 5 beacons we need, its the getting into league rankings of top 25 as well, now this takes more than just the level 5 beacons required, because it means we have to gain territory to get to rank 25 meaning holding more beacons in a grouping, the same is said to get the fort to level 20, you will need a lot more than 5 level 5 beacons and the fort kill to get in league rankings of top 10 as i think it takes 30 miles of territory for that will have to go into game and double check

Yep...you need a good strategy and members to be active (it's a little bit hard in August) there are many beacons in Balur hands....so this won't be a problem, but you must upgrade them fast and then when you have enough territory and gained the league rank you must upgrade fortress faster...Now, everything depends on how many enemies your league has, how powerful and active they are to do all these actions in a little time.
