Why do these games keep having Shockwave crashes? If I am playing more than one game if happens in all of them. My theory is that Plarium causes the crashes periodically if I have not read their pop up ads recently, and must reload the game to get those things pop up. It seems to only happen right when I initiate an offensive action.
Never got a message about shockwave crashed. The game have hang froze up before, but never got an actual message of such. Try re-install newest version of shockwave.

Hello.
Maybe the load is just too high for your PC while you're playing more than one game?
Dear Lord
sometimes can happen that the flash gets so occupied that the crash can happen or the browse begin to run slowly
i can notice it sometimes in my old pc, especially if im exploring the map a lot of time and what i do is close the entire browser, all tabs, and clean all cache and restart it again
hope this can solve ur crashes
RegardsWhat i meant was the crashes happen whether I am running just one game or more than one. No advance warnings that I can notice. These games are the only places it happens. The games run very slow usually, where I am in Florida the influx of winter visitors is huge and internet slows way down from increased traffic. I noticed this past year my speed dropped from 25 mbps to 4 (ATT) once we hit October.hebroots said:

There are many things that could cause shock-wave to crush. It could be because your browser is using way too much CPU, as Alina explain, this happen when you're doing many tasks that uses flash.
But most of the time it is caused by an outdated browser. make sure you are using the latest Chrome/opera/torch.
If your PC is old, or your internet speed is not above 1G then you might want to use Maxthon nitro or puffin browser. Puffin works well for flash games and it never crush. But I never use it for Plarium, only for shooter games and heavily graphited games like LOL. So you might want to install one of these.

installed newest version of shockwave, seems to be running the games smoother and faster....have to wait to see on crashes if they happen again, thanks..
evidently shockwave does not upgrade itself, you have to go in and do it yourself.Above 1gb? Jeez do you live right next to the IXP or something? I'm lucky if my internet speed gets up to 50mb on a good day :( His problem sounds like his computer may not have enough ram though. If the ram is exhausted it could cause shockwave to crash. There are many things that could cause shock-wave to crush. I think there's a way to enable automatic updates, it should be somewhere on the add ons page of your browser.Gadheras said:

There are several types of crashes actually. When the game crashes as we update the servers from our end and when the game crashes due to some issues from your end like Internet connection, outdated browser, so on.
In case of the servers updates, devs can add a warning to the game only if it's a planned maintenance and they know in advance the time it will last.Plarium games are one big memory leak. Every time you open a dialog, map, ranking, ..... it stays in memory and never gets cleared. When you open the same thing again it just eats another chunk of memory. Plarium games will as you play use as much memory as they can get. I got Stormfall to use 4.5GB memory.
The more memory it uses the less responsive the game isThe only way to deal with that is to reload the game or in some cases kill/close the browser tab the game is loaded in and start over
