Facebook is certainly better than hosting your own game. Plarium make more money on Facebook compared to on plarium.com.
And no plarium is not planning on migrating on to Facebook. They already have games there, including Stormfall.
Do you have any evidence or statistics to back up your assertion? I've never seen any numbers showing that the facebook version of the game earns more than the plarium.com version.
Congratulations that is the smartest thing you have said for the intire year.
Google is your friend. It's rather idiotic that a mod does not know this information. You can also ask Alyona ( if she is still around), you can do so under the protection of information act.
yeah, Biohazard.
ive got to side with Oracle on this one. that was a pretty dopey response. if you read ANY of gabi shaleel's interviews there is a huge focus on facebook because thats where the money is.
Look for the new "stormfall" mobile game to added to facebook to replace the browser one. although Alyona and Alina have only been told that it wont replace it, it will add to the lore, that is plarium's answer to the HTML5 migrtation. a fresh start.
I spend a lot of time following the MMO community online. Reading articles, watching tech trends, looking for interviews given by CEOs and employees of games in playing or interested in. There is a wealth of information readily available from a bunch of different sources.
There is also a lot of info online about the culture of plarium and how things work on the inside. Plarium is a fast rising rockstar in the gaming world and a lot has been said so there is much content to glean info from.
the CMs are told to tell us that the devs are hard at work on updating our game for the death of flash, but if you know the culture at Plarium there is a huge barrier between the CMs and the developers. they are usually just as disconnected from what is going on as we are. They are telling us what they know to be true, its just that its not always true when its told to them.
So while the official line from the community manager is "the developers are working on it" the truth is that the developers are really locked in their offices playing overwatch while the art team works on the mobile app story boards.
