I personally find better success when battling in fortress than when waiting for hrs in settlements.

Not sure why would you value pathfinders as battling units in these day and age.

two years ago, when beacons were defended, 10K pathfinders were something, now they are only good as barlur sacrifice in BG.

The description on the settlements is wrong. You can also get Ulrich's Blade from a Fallen Cathedral.

Yours are the same level as mine, It sucks that you need to get 1.1 mil xp to upgrade again.

Anyone who thinks pathfinders are no good has rocks in their head. The one thing i dont like about them is that you can only send 166666 at a castle at a time.

The original question on how to get them. I had one for over a year before i got the 2nd 3rd and 4th in 1 day during beacon wars.

1 of my league mates got 1 for losing a single archer in someones castle when it was raided. And Dread got one from a settlement.

Why pathfinders are useless

Low speed+ Low carrying capacity= useless for raids

High food consumption+ high production time= Useless for attact( you will need more, but the unit limit will cap in such a way that you won't win a a stacked castle, if they could be produced in speed of pikes then they might be tempting

For you guys they might be useful, for hitting beacons and stacked forts( they will become useless when beacon becomes more abandoned) But I only need them for BG, and they don't have to be powerful( the more powerful they are the less useless they become as a banking units.

These is the only use for UB

I get 2-3 when downgrading forts( level 3-9)

click that sell button, I dare you!

I dont know what game you play but it wont let me build wyverns in my infantry ques. And i do have 2 stormtamers as well.

They dont carry much? when you have a quarter million of them that dont matter.

Build speed for power V pikes?

They eat to much? Once you get to a certain level of minus PH it doesn't even matter

You need to wipe your chin, you are dribbling again

Such big numbers DJ, I nearly had my brain fried just reading that.

Relics drop rate is also influenced by location of battle, and the kind of battle itself

For example you are likely to receive an infantry offense and defense boost wen performing  the first to sixth raid within 24 hr period.

I normally get a UB after downgrading less than 50 forts( not sure of the number). but you get better chances in forts that in castle.

I also think the location of players, in relative to UCT also affect the drop rate, by what magnitude I am not sure, but you're likely to be at better odds when in UCT+0 to UCT+8.

Special offers were also working according to locality( why did you think it was easy for Emp to buy a harmmer)  but the prizes has since been fixed. Now players are divided into quadrants of sorts, and those receive the same offer that regenerate every 3 weeks( no longer a month). So its actually possible to have two 9$ purchases per month now.

Eventually our devs will figure out that this relic is fatally bugged and was actually designed for Bear Riders, not Pathfinders (compare the identical relic in all other plarium games)   http://prntscr.com/gnad2d

Eh they're good for doing test hits on fortresses or castles as well.

Actually I don't think the location of the battle affects the drop rate.  I suspect your sample size wasn't large enough and that's why you found trends when none exist.  You say you "normally" get a UB doing certain things, but how many have you actually gotten?  In order to identify an actual pattern you would need to have done tens of thousands of tests if the drop rate is somewhere around 1% or less.   The time does seem to affect the drop rate for artifacts in general though.  I'm not sure whether there's any fixed pattern but at certain times i'll notice that everyone is getting lots of item drops and others they are very rare.

I always say something that has been verified, or I have encountered by experience.

Here is my proof

I know that these is not UB. Lord Biohazard can post my other screenshots for where I proofed that UB can be found in higher frequency in forts. I actually did the exp and posted 2 screenshots showing the evidence. The pics are still there in Skype mod channel.

That screenshot, together with those 2 proof my thesis. How is anyone here going to argue with that fact.

Lol with that minus why do you bother running the +25% food production boost? It probably takes you from like -750k to -720k :P

You winning 2 of them from fortresses has no statistical significance.  It could just be that you hit fortresses more than you do other stuff, or got lucky in those battles.

Because when the food is getting close to landing at your castle and your curser is hovering over the troop you want to build, i want the extra fraction of time.

And i think i have enough food boosters to last until the game is finished.

From what I have been reading your brain was fried long ago.

1 Wyv in 3 hrs with a power of lets say 4k

using 7 min per path you can build just over 25, now times that by 400 you get 10k in power

Most of the defensive power in the game is occult and beast, attack with a Wyvern and you are attacking that units strongest attribute. Golums and Griffins are 25% to 50% weaker against infantry so not only do you get double the power you attack the units weakest attribute.

If speed is your only requirement and have the double storm tamer relic then join the oracle fan club. Otherwise keep building those pathfinders and if you see Oracles castle send a few his way to say hello ;)
