Math and mooncoins
This is a summary of the math behind the new Divine hero equipment, and why you can't afford to keep trying for that perfect gear with exactly the upgrades you want (probably unit offense or defense bonuses).
There are 10 possible bonuses you can get on each upgrade (12 for rings). That means the chance of getting the one you want on any particular upgrade is 1/10. The chance of getting the one you want on the level 6 upgrade AND the level 7 upgrade is 1/10 * 1/10 = 1/100. The chance of getting the one you want on the level 6 and the level 7 and the level 8 and the level 9 and the level 10 is 1/10 * 1/10 * 1/10 * 1/10 * 1/10 = 1/100,000.
So on average you'd have to do 100,000 resets and upgrades to get that perfect gear. And the first upgrade costs 90k mooncoins (the others cost more but 90% of the time you'd be reseting after the first one so we'll just leave it at this for now).
That means you're looking at an average cost of over 9 billion mooncoins to get 1 piece of perfect gear with the exact upgrades you want. If you're doing bgs (level 61+), most of the gear you get will be gray class 4, which gives 480 mooncoins for each piece you scrap. That's 18 million bgs to get the mooncoins you need. If you're buying packages with mooncoins, the best ones I've seen give 10k for $10. So then you're looking at $9 million.
There are multiple good bonuses for the new equipment, but people with OCD are going to have to accept that they're never going to get the "perfect" combination". So hopefully this post saves you some headaches :)
