however; IMO, an entirely absurd change made to champion selection when raiding.....CAVALIERS ????

Auto substituting semi useless cavs for templars is [ to state it politely ] the epitome of a porrly thought out change.

Using a templar in a prior raid, STILL results in the next is a raiding series to be a CAVALIER.

all know raids are a matter of timing ; one already needs to deal with the foolish question regardig a time boost when ' close' to target',aaaargh [ gee, i never knew i was almost there, duh.

NOW we have another time waster, needing to check /change the champ before the raid.

Seconds wasted for no good reason. Trap/reins chances increased.

Unexpected switch of cav for templar already caused a raid to fail with substantial losses here.

WHY was this done??

I have removed all cavaliers; if anyone has a better solution, it would be appreciated,

You could always just uncheck the auto selection box and select the champ yourself. I turned it off as soon as the feature came out and haven't touched it since.

I'm thinking that the reason behind it is that most raid Farms that are not defended and advanced level 5 Cavaliers really bring home the resources as Biohazard correctly noted the change is optional you are welcomed to opt out.

I would have thought that 95%+ of raids that are sent are for resources at inactive castles. So the cavalier as default makes a lot of sense.

Of course for those few who don't raid for resource and are raiding for PvP it won't be helpful. Shame it doesn't work for you.

But like ppl already said, there are solutions for that. Personally I play the whole game with auto turned off already.
