Based on this post. https://plarium.com/forum/en/stormfall-age-of-war/841_news/141_end-of-flash-update/
I could only infer that they are no longer even trying, without facts to point otherwise. My opinion based largely on one sentance, "For this reason, we have decided to commit to helping every player migrate to desktop versions of our games. "
Now I may be completely wrong, but by moving everyone to the app there is no need to continue development of other formats.
There is a FB / Twitter thing somewhere that implies they might still be working on it.
I hope they are, cause if not then the games won't have a particularly long time span from now. Sooner or later the reliance on Flash will end the game if it isn't ported to a new technology with a future.
From FAQ on migration I am told this is the present status ATM
Issue 19: Will you develop HTML5 versions of the games so they can still be played on browsers?
Answer: We are working on HTML5 versions but a number of optimizations and updates are needed to make them feasible for all users.
We cannot estimate how long this will take or if it'll be viable for everyone so the only way to continue playing will be by migrating to Plarium Play. If the HTML5 option is possible, we will of course let you know immediately.

And if I'm not mistaken, that is 3-5 weeks old, when we were told there were to be OPTIONS.
We are back to "soon" and "trust us", and just where has gotten us so far?
We are back to where we have been when we know then we will let you know. I know this is not the answer you want to see or the one we want to give you.
but the answer is not " by moving everyone to the app there is no need to continue development of other formats. "
Please know we are not ignoring anyone when we can tell you something different we will. Also making new topics of the same questions answered will not speed things up either and don't expect us to answer each individually either as repeat topics will be removed as per the forum rules about repeat topics .
You all matter to us unforunately at this time we have nothing to add. Please look at the FAQ on Migration pinned at the top of the Disscussion Area for other migration questions
And I wish you all a safe Holiday Season
Yes, we are back to where we were 2-3 years ago.
As a forum moderator, you are not expected to know all the goings on with the company, as a paid employee might be. Even Alina is more of a messanger, not directly involved in the issues raised. But it is her title and job. So it is neithers fault, but the fault does lie somewhere within Plarium.
Hence why these posts are appearing. The end of days is neigh for some, some are still holding onto hope and promises. Those deserve an answer and solid answers.
Hi! The recent info is here, guys.
It does not address the topic of HTML5.
So yes or no, is there ever to be an option to utilize HTML5 with current games?
