It's such a a weird super nerf that I can't help but think it's an error (typo missing the extra zero?).
Without the recharges there is literally nothing of value in the package. Bar misclicks, they will literally sell zero of those packages. And I suspect previously it was quite a good earner. It's pretty much exactly the extra energy you need to complete the champs duel and earn a free holy(or 2 if you win group). So at $10 or a holy, it must have sold pretty well.
If it was done intentionally...... then it would just be wow moment.
Either way, my bet it will be back to 400 next time, when someone in management asks where all the package revenue went.
Yeah DJ Moody might be right I'll ask about itIt's such a a weird super nerf that I can't help but think it's an error (typo missing the extra zero?).

Yeah my guess is it'll get reversed, I can't see many players buying it for 40.The Reply I got is it was not a Typo it was intended as written. But that does not mean that it will stay that way.
Things tend to fluctuate depending on the players reactions.
So this is why we are here to relay the players concerns back to admin.
Your concerns are being noted !
Thank you Wesley for looking into it.The Reply I got is it was not a Typo it was intended as written. But that does not mean that it will stay that way.

It's a bit bit worrying if it was intentional.
It shows the dev have absolutely no idea what they are doing and are just running the game by guesswork (even the montisiation which tbh is something I assumed they did actually focus on and know about).
The offer is making good money.
They wonder whether it's too generous and whether the sweet spot to maximise revenue is to give a but less away. But they don't understand why the offer is being bought. Why 400 is actually a very good number for it. They just randomly try it different levels hoping to randomly hit the revenue sweet spot at some point.
FYI 400 recharges = 4000 sends to undead. Once you take into account the free emeralds and orbs from the champs duel, the original package is almost exactly the extra you need to complete the champs event.
If you lower the offer at all it almost certainly won't sell. If the package <> completing one duel event, it loses 100% of it's value. The only valuable rewards in the event are right at the end. So if you buy the package but it only allows you to get 75% through the event before you get stuck, then the package will have zero value to you. It's either 400 recharges or just don't run the offer tbh.
Thanks for the clear explanation. I agree, the package was well balanced in its previous format. It's a bit bit worrying if it was intentional.
