Hi, I wrote here because I think it is the most appropriate place to ask information to those who have understood more than me or have already experimented. My question is: how does the "BONUS defense beacons reduction" feature work? By bonus is meant the bonus based on the beacon level (level 1 = 5%, level 2 = 10%, level 3 = 15%, level 4 = 20%, level 5 = 25%)? If maximized this lost art reaches 75%, what does it mean? That if for example there are 100 million defense and it is a level 5 beacon, if I make an attack of only gargoyles instead of facing a defense of 125 million (100 + 25%) there are only 106,250,000 inside (100 million plus 25% removing 75% from 25%)?

And how does the -20% defense statistic work (only if there are no stoneherat units)? Thanks and I apologize for any translation errors

few things here

1.these abilities (not just gargoyle's ability,every stoneheart unit) have a chance of activation,for this to work,u need to upgrade increase their chances,via means already known

2.level of a beacon dsnt matter when activated it will provide the bonus on any level.as this feature works on castles too

3.this equation u made,dsnt just rely on gargoyle factor,there could be a counter ability,namely purgators. which increases the beacons' defense bonus,and as beacons are defended by many ,each might have diferent levels of upgrades.so simply just putting a few numbers wont help

if i understand u right, no the decrease in Defnse bonus dsnt increase ur ofense,it decreases the bonus a beacon or castle has

to clarify this,i dnt know if ur familiar with castle defense bonus ? u make walls,towers,etc so ur castle defense bonus increases. each 10k CDB increases the stats of the units defending ur castle by 100% .when gargoyles abilit is activated,it decreases this percentage.its just like this for beacons too .beacons have 5 to 25% defense bonus as u urself said,gargoyle ability decreases this.weakening the units defending it by the respective percentages

-20% damage power,about this one ! when a player attacks another(s) with Stoneheart units,if defending party arnt using any stoneheart,attacker will deal 20% more damage ,that easy 

this feature works everywhere in the same manner

Yep, gargoyles have some nice bonuses.  Just keep in mind it's only a chance of activation, unless you send a 100% gargoyle attack it may not activate in a particular battle.

I can see some people misunderstanding what been said in the thread.

So just for absolute clarity.

The Gargoyle special bonus reduces the bonus that the defending location provides. it does not directly reduce the power of the defending troops. So if activated it could reduce the 25% bonus from a level 5 beacon to 6.25%. It does not reduce the total power of the defence by 75% (i.e. it has no impact on the champ and all the other bonuses).

If you had a really good account your bonuses could add up to over 400% (not incl. champ). The gargoyle is going to reduce that by 19%, i.e. it might only have a 5% impact on the total defence power.

Bottom line is, activating the bonus is only marginally beneficial at beacons, it could be absolutely show stopping at castle with mega walls / castle bonus as it will drop the huge castle bonus buff by 75%.
