Hello Nameless , the description say that :
at lvl 22 you have 1000 castle defense bonus + 50 % gathering speed bonus, and after that...
at lvl 23 you have the same 1000 castle defense bonus + 65%gathering speed bonus,and ...
at lvl 24 you have the same 1000 castle defense bonus + the same 65%gathering speed bonus + 20% defense bonus for the units in the hamlet
So there is nothing wrong, the bonus is not cumulative!
No...... description doesnt says following
1) No cumulative bonus
2) Same 1000 bonus etc
This is plain and simple cheating

This has been raised many times by many different players. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. The bonuses are not cumulative, but it's not expressly pointed out that they're not cumulative.
The same thing happens with upgrading townhouses, mines, farms etc.
You've been burned once, just don't get burned again. The description will never be changed.
