That event came quite close to destroying the game. 

After about a year of the event (and a lot posts from player pointing out the damage it was doing) Plarum seemed to wake up and stopped it forever.

Beacon massacre ruined the beacon game which is the high level end game content that provides the motivations and incentives that keep a lot of long term players in the game. Without them there is no one to run leagues, motivate players to be active, create the communities which bind people to the game, share knowledge and experience and create the meta game content which pushes the game to be much more than it's component parts.

Hi, one simple question ... Is the beacons massacre gone forever or not? I know it hasn't been there for more than two years, but has it disappeared or maybe it will come back? Just to organize myself ... I searched for posts but I didn't find anything that says it is gone forever ...

what brought this on ? 

things to discuss were finished so why not lets bring back beacon massacres and destroy the game in a way that everyone leaves and dsnt come back to this game ...

iv got nothing else of importance so i just wanted to see if demons existed ,well why not call its name few hundred thousand times
