That's a bit disappointing, don't worry though there are many other ways to get orbs (especially the orange ones that everybody wants).  You get 3 per month from the monthly moon quest for summoning a grade 5 champ, one from the weor recruitment race every 2 weeks if your league completes it, usually 1 or 2 from the event where you just run a solo hunt for 3 days (I forget what it's called), as well as some from other events including the dana's trail event that's currently running.  I wouldn't be surprised if at some point they add the option to buy them for gold in the league shop.
