Funny you should ask that: because that is the only report that is missing from my list (the one where the siege was broken) + after asking a few Allies, it is missing from their lists as well ... Again, things that make you go hmmmm....
However I do have the siege report I sent before it was broken with this massive force.
After it was broken, I sent a message to the person who broke my siege...
Also I have a screenshot of a message I received from the player sending this force...
So it would have taken place within the 19 min of these two points... 08:35 - 08:54
I agree with Limad here, there are no force limits when you hit the liberate option to break a siege.
Question though.
Was the siege raided or did player just break it?
If raided, there would be some issues with the limit.
If broken, they used the liberate option which has no force limit.
If I send a Raid to a castle : there is a Force Limit of 250,000
If I send a Siegeto a castle : there is a Force Limit of 250,00
If I want to Siege a Beacon : there is a Force Limit of 150,000
However... If I send Reinforcements: there is NO LIMIT
So there is really no reason to Siege a castle if anyone in the game can send (any amount of offensive / defensive units) to any castle that is sieged
or to any castle of their choosing on the map, because all castle have the option to send Reinforcements.
=========================================================================================
Now let see if I understand this...
There is a player who is constantly raiding one of my members castles...
Diplomacy with the player does not work...
Then after all other avenues have been tried (thru the league and League Marshall) to stop this player from raiding my member...
I choose to siege the castle, to stop this player from sending out anymore raids on my member or anyone else...
Now ANYONE playing can see this castle on the map is sieged and they can send 850,000+ Offensive or 5,000,000+ Offensive units or as many units as they want to break the siege or liberate the castle...
as long as they send it as "REINFORCEMENTS"
If this is how the game is played... then don't the MEGA Coiners have a HUGE ADVANTAGE to just pick + choose any castle on the map they see Sieged and send then their "REINFORCEMENTS" to break the siege or liberate the castle, which allows the MEGA Coiner to make massive amounts of EXP, unit EXP, PvP points, Brawl points, Duel points, and leauge quest points ???
Then what is the purpose of having a Force Limit on the other parts of the game ???
Oh, right... I forgot, there were too many complaints on the Forum about players getting their troops wiped out at a Beacon by someone with 5 Billion / 10 Billion in Offensive power
Back in my originial post : what do you think the Offensive Power was of those 850,000+ units?
=========================================================================================
I mean really if there is a Force Limit to Siege a castle put on all players... but there is NO FORCE LIMIT to send reinforcements which can break the siege or liberate the castle, then I find that NOT "fair and balanced" game play
I say put a Force Limit on Reinforcement too... Then maybe my 250,000 units that are Sieging the castle are stronger than your 250,000 units you are sending as "Reinforcements", you can continue to send 250,000 units as "Reinforcements" as many times as you like, it's not like you have stop after one failed breaking... and then it will be MORE "fair and balanced"
then again, maybe not since I don't spend 100's of 1,000's of $$$ on this game to buy troops + revive troops + buy boosts to make them stronger

This is probably linked to the problems we had when trying to send the correct Champions to liberate a siege
Liberating is an offensive action, not reinforcements, and should therefore have a force limit
Therefore .... it is a bug :)
Logic isn't always flawless in games. I agree, it's strange. Plarium said this wasen't a bug and works as intended.

Good day! As it was mentioned above, it's not a bug. There is no limit on sending reinforcements to other Castles. This was originally designed in this way since the very beginning of the game.
No it wasnt but good to know how knowledgeable about the game you are.

Sieging a players castle does not stop them from sending out attacks. The ONLY thing being sieged does is let you collect 25% of their production of one resource type (and your troops defend their castle so nobody else can attack them). If I send a Raid to a castle : there is a Force Limit of 250,000
If I send a Siegeto a castle : there is a Force Limit of 250,00

totally disagree with u !
just an opinion .lets say a mega coiner by your words ,besieges someone , i dnt think anyone can break the siege if that player is really intent on making the other one leave .i think there can always be fights in beacons and forts where evryone loses some portion of their troops and dnt get uppset over that percentage ,but this is the castle we are talkin about ,if a fight occurs one player loses almost evrything if it was me id leave the game if im honest ,unless evryone helps and it is the mega coiner that loses alot and for the besieged player s/he receives help from the league ! i mean if u think about it this opinion can be disproved too with so many other posibilities which also brings me to personal gameplay and strategies .evryone has a different game play style but in the end ,again, i , believe its never bad to have help option on the table with no limit for a castle ,as the only people who are capable of mega solo attacks on castles are mega coiners,no one else can do that ,its not a league attack, its a solo one ! i wouldnt be upset if i saw that offence crushed .
respectfully, just a personal opinion,
fURY,
