That's a good question, I've never understood why the game doesn't let you purchase more paragon time if it's already active and just add what you purchased to the existing time. You're still spending the sapphires, and you can already get more than 30 days by using activators that you already have.If we have active paragon we are not able to buy 30 days paragon at discount.

It has been posted in the bug reports about this same thing, if it is a bug, they are alerted to it when they check the forum and will replyCool. I don't think it's a bug, but either way hopefully Plarium will change it.
Greedy Plarium doesn't want players buying up a ton of 30 day activators at low prices. If you like to keep it active, it would be highly beneficial for a player to buy a bunch of 30 day activators while their paragon level is very low.

It has been for quite a long time that players can't get a Paragon activator if they already have it enabled.
It was done to avoid stocking of activators at the Market.

let me translate the Marketing :
There are 2 kinds of players:
- coiners that have paragon ( and Plarium dont want to give a discount for them...becouse they buy no matter the price)
- noncoiners or little coiners that dont afford paragon all the time and Plarium get a discount to grab some money from them to.
