Maybe building troops ...but I don't think you can say what part is the most important part of the game...all of them are correlated ... only money can make differences and broke the normal chain of activities.

Raiding is one of the most important aspects of the game

we need to raid in order to build unless of course you just buy all your resources

I think its very individual what is most important for a player. Some just want to build their "sim castle" in peace, and complain loudly every time someone attack them for not have done anyone anything wrong. Others just want to kick castles over and make them cry...
