Can you please include more information.

-BG level

-BG type

-Amount of experience gained

-BG settlement type, e.g encampment, Village

-Level of your path

-Total  net bonuses

-Your last payout type

-your net bank amount

If you are  Battling an offence, the best  unit type to use is infantry. It could be pikes, or paths, this will depend on which unit will fill your bank and offer best bonuses to avoid overfill of bank in the process.

If you are Battling a defence then you need to feed it beast. Weather you use graf or undead will depend on the information you failed to provide.

Biohazard gave the first non trolling answer in career as a mod.

And it is a wrong answer.

Technically he is right. The dragon will  of course die, and their death will act as a bank. Using them to defend at a battleground might seem like a bad idea. But it a recommended method of banking when and completing BG in one go doing, especially those over 100.

However you need to take into consideration how many dragons will likely die, and weather their death will fill the bank.

To know this you need to calculate how much defence does your dragon provide. A quick run a  BG calculator online will tell you how much beast defence you need. From this you can tell how many dragon you need to defend with. And  what  is their bank.

Then you have to compare the banks. If it matches that of the BG then you can go.

If not then try then do the above with Wyverns, ect.

But you can't do this while drunk.

So just remember this

Send more  unit type in defence BG. Send less unit type in offence BG.

So if its defence  BG and  balur attacking force has more infantry you defend with more infantry. If its offensive BG and balur's defence have less infantry you attack with infantry.

He just said is green BG.

You really have to automate your spreadsheet with If statements, Like Mark. I could share my if statements with you, but my sheet is in Afrikaans.

Then he should send griffs to that bg

my spreadsheet has a lot of IF statements where is required. Also has macros and automatic data traslade to other sheets. as i told you one day it has arround 14-15 tabs and its not finished.

If you want as much griffins as possible in a potential payout, then cook and send Huntresses, Nomads, Golems.   Cook and send griffins as well if you want, but I think that defeats the point.

If you just don't care what you receive, as long as its beasties, then just build and send PFs, Reavers, Golems, and Chimeras.  Add any occult payouts to your next send.

Keep those units cooking 24/7 and send them as often as you like.   This will allow you to bank the most resources per week.  I also recommend applying skull runes in the Obelisk of Power to reduce their training time, allowing even more resource banking.

My advice is: do NOT send griffins to this battleground.
Griffins are very important units for pvp.
I advise you to send nomads, huntresses, and golems if you can't wait.

In addition, and only if you are building a defensive army (and that seems to be the case) I advise you to send your offensive units to convert them into defensive units.
I hope these tips will help you.

Here is a French tutorial that I wrote:

Looks like a level 100 to me

It recommends sending bestiary defense, but griffins are a lot more valuable than demons and stuff, so I would send them instead and fill in with a few nomads and infantry

or if it was red, send waves of infantry and cavalry cooking them every day for 3 months haha
3 million offense takes time to cook

http://prntscr.com/j1hh6s

p.s. just send one archer as a scout, not pathfinders

One archer, one pathfinder, what difference does it make?

Yeah, I'd hold onto the griffins and use lower troops to kill it.

Scouting isn't necessary anyway.  If you're cooking for max resources, you're sending the same troops regardless of Balur's troop complement.

Dear Lords

yep, that BG needs griffs for the best way to finish it without too much casualties

but...what its the goal of bgs...killing them the fast u can and with the less casualites u can ?? or banking for switching low troops to high troops ??

its true that it needs griffs but as high troop u will get are griffs or maybe golems or demons (lower troops that u used)

so, use low troops (nomads, barbarians) or if you want golems and demons to finish it..sure it will take you more time to finish it and more casualties but its better as the moment u bank more and spend lower level troops that u are going to be paid
